I don’t trust anyone with my DNS. CloudFlare has a good privacy policy, but it’s not perfect: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/cloudflares-1111-dns-passes-privacy-audit-some-issues-found/

It’s also like any policy, subject to change. I built my own DNS server because I only trust myself. I don’t use an upstream provider, I use Unbound, a recursive lookup server. It’s fast and secure.
