The number of legit exit nodes without contact info versus malicious is an issue, but can be 25-50%. An you're correct, this script does not protect you from malicious exit noes with contact info; with more intel and some adjustment the script can be improved, but as is, if it can help me avoid 1K malicious exit relays, I'll take it. HTTPS-Only Mode helps mitigate this, but changes in the Tor network must be made to maintain health of the network.
